The Dashboard is the first page you see after logging in. It gives you a quick navigation to key areas of the GoSmarter system.

When you open the Dashboard, you’ll see key information about your operation at a glance.
Main Dashboard Sections
The dashboard is designed to show you to the most important information first, so you can quickly access:
- Inventory
- Orders
- Cutting jobs
- Mill certificates

How to Use the Dashboard
Quick Navigation
From the dashboard, you can quickly jump to any section:
- Click on any summary card to go to that section
- Use the left sidebar menu to navigate directly
- Recent items may have clickable links

“Welcome to the GoSmarter Dashboard. This is your home screen where you’ll start each day.
At the top, you’ll see the company selector - make sure the correct company is selected.
The main area shows summary cards. You can click on any of these cards to jump straight to that section. For example, clicking on Inventory takes you directly to your full inventory list.
On the left sidebar, you have your main navigation menu. These sections are always available no matter where you are in the system:
- Dashboard brings you back here
- Production Planning expands to show Inventory, Orders, Cut long products, and the Scrap Calculator
- Compliant Steel shows Mill Certificates
The dashboard refreshes automatically, so you’re always seeing current information. Let’s explore the main sections now.”
