# Turn any tag into a quality gate

Until now, only GoSmarter's own Rule Pack tags could stop a review in its tracks — anything you tagged yourself was just a label. Useful for sorting, but nothing stopped a flagged item quietly sailing through Quality Review.

Not anymore. When you create or edit a tag, you can now set it to Block, Flag, or Audit:

- Block tags actually hold up Approve on Order Quality Review and Mill Cert Review — the reviewer has to tick "Override block" and give a reason before it goes through
- Flag and Audit tags show up for awareness without getting in anyone's way
- The severity shows as a coloured symbol wherever the tag appears — on stock, certificates, orders, and in Manage Tags

Every override gets logged, so there's always a record of who let what through and why. Because "I'm sure it's fine" isn't a compliance process.
